We wish Theresa Kennedy a happy belated birthday. Her family treated her to a Chinese supper at the home of her daughter, Kim and Jackie Gerbig. Her family members were all there including the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The recreation board for the RM of Glenside held their first meeting of a new season Sept. 5, at the home of Linda Hardenne of Lizard Lake. Attending were members from Baljennie and Lizard Lake.

Threshing day shakes out 400 spectators

Borden's 25th annual Threshing Day was held on a beautiful hot day, Sept 24, and over 400 people were at the site north of Borden to watch the different events and have soup, borscht, bread, jam and beverages at the McCheane-Wake cook car.
