What did you do this week? We saved a kitten

My week started the same as any other week at work. That is until our gas pumper walked into the store with a tiny kitten that was obviously over heated, hurt and unresponsive. It had arrived under the hood of a woman's vehicle.

Bingo was played at the Maidstone Drop In Centre Sept. 14. There was good attendance and a few new players have joined in this fall. Joan Smith and Margaret MacEachern did the calling. Denise Newton provided lunch.

The Neilburg senior girls' volleyball team is looking strong this year. The team travelled to Turtleford Sept. 8 and 9 to take part in St. Walburg's home tournament.
