We wish Theresa Kennedy a happy belated birthday. Her family treated her to a Chinese supper at the home of her daughter, Kim and Jackie Gerbig. Her family members were all there including the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The evening was finished off with a birthday cake.
A carload of ladies from the apartments enjoyed the fall super at Lashburn last Sunday.
Tillie Linkert accompanied Joyce Weston to the Pederson apiary at Carruthers. She said she lived so close and didn't know it was there. She was amazed at all the work that goes into it.
Colleen Koski drove Audrey Bertrand to Lloydminster for an eye appointment.
Thursday, Dorothy Kissick was to Loon Lake. Saturday and Sunday she was to Lloydminster. Sunday they stopped at the petting zoo with some of the grandchildren.
Saturday, Eva Inkster, Tillie Linkert, Jean Stewart and I went for a drive south. It was a beautiful day and some of the leaves are turning. The combines were at work. We stopped and enjoyed tea and a visit with Clair Paton's
Eva Inkster had her son, Jack Inkster, of Edmonton for an overnight visit.
The people here at the apartments are cleaning up their flowerbeds and tomato plants, getting ready for winter. The tomato crop was really great. It is surprising what one plant can produce.
Everyone is enjoying the beautiful fall weather. It takes away the thoughts of what is to come.
