Unity Golf Club is very proud of junior member Justin Wood who competed in Junior Men's National Golf Championships in Surrey, B.C. last week.

Charnele Jellsion, Shirraya Tuscherer and Kelsey Wildeman, who played with the Kindersley Edge Realty Royals at the Midget B Western Canadian Softball Championships in Medicine Hat, enjoyed much success on the weekend.

For the first time farmers' markets will be held in Waseca. For this year, two have been planned: August 13 and 27. The markets will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Waseca Community Centre.
