This past week saw Meota and the area around the lake tormented by Mother Nature. On both Monday night and again Tuesday evening she attacked with fury, throwing rain and wind at us.

What a weekend -July 8, 9, and 10 - rain, rain and more rain didn't stop music lovers from watching the fantastic performers at the Carlton Trail Jamboree. I know I don't report for Rabbit Lake, but I was there and would like to add my two cents.

This weekend was one of the busiest around Meota Regional Park. When I took a tour around the campsites there weren't any sites available unless you could talk someone into letting you pitch a pup tent in their site.
