Richardson Pioneer presented the Sturgis Community Council with a donation that will be spent towards playground equipment for elementary students when they move into the high school in the fall.

The Etoimamie Valley Riders Club allowed avid horse riders to showcase their skills at various events during the gymkhana event which was part of the Sturgis Sports and Rodeo weekend on June 24 and June 25.

Students from grades 1 to 6 were acknowledged for their hard work and dedication throughout the school year during an awards program on June 28.

The hot weather made for perfect conditions for the summer solstice fun day held at Annie Laurie Lake on June 27. The fun day featured numerous different summer activities with a giant slip-and-slide 小蓝视频 the highlight of the afternoon.

Numerous students at the Sturgis Composite High School received awards on June 21 to celebrate their accomplishments throughout the school year. Principal Brad Cameron welcomed the students and thanked teachers and students for a great school year.

Meagan Barabash has always loved to dance and her passion has taken her to new heights.

The Endeavour Eagles had their annual ball tournament on June 10, with eight teams participating. The tournament included a concession booth with perogies, hamburgers and hotdogs and a beer garden.
