The City of Yorkton parks staff has taken the initiative to implement a new sport. There is a course set up for nine-hole disc golf at Patrick Park on King St. Holes were filled recently and the course is ready for play.

The 18U womens volleyball team competed in Abbotsord, BC from May 13-15. The tournament included 230 male and female teams from across the country converged and played in the 17U/18U categories.
