Many people turned out to watch the parade, which kicked off the four-day Energy City Ex.

Town officials, and members of the Assiniboia Civic Improvement Centre Committee took a tour of the new 小蓝视频land Co-op Centre Arena on June 8.

Grades 4 and 5 students from Weyburn's elementary schools attended the annual Ag Safety Day presentations at the Weyburn Curling Rink on Wednesday. Demonstrations and exhibits relayed safety messages around tractors, lawn mowers, animals, bicycles, along with safety around chemicals and in the sun. Grade 4 classes attended the morning sessions, and Grade 5 classes took in the afternoon ones. All students also had the chance to make a first aid kit with the assistance of the Weyburn EMS.

Weyburn's historic Haig School, built in 1920 and closed at the end of June a year ago, fell to a demolition crew in the past few weeks. They began with the gymnasium and newer parts of the school, then took about a week to remove hazardous materials, including asbestos, before finishing the demolition this week.

The Weyburn Wildlife Federation hosted their first annual Walleye Classic at Mainprize Park on June 4.

Pipes and drums band and Highland dancers were part of the event.
