Weyburn Chamber of Commerce:

The former extension agrologist and regional crops specialist for Weyburn, Elaine Moats, received an award in recognition of her contributions to the ag industry in Saskatchewan.

Estevan – Drilling activity in Saskatchewan was down substantially for January 2016 compared to the same month in previous years, but not as low as might be expected at a time when oil kept dipping well below US$30/barrel WTI.

Calgary – For a few years now, Husky Oil Operations Limited has been shifting towards thermal production of heavy oil.

The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce will be holding a number of different sessions for members, including a policy roundtable, an information evening on communications, and a breakfast meeting with the mayor and reeve from the City and RM of Weyburn.
