The Estevan TS&M bantam AA Bruins were on the road for a trio of contests this past week. They were in Regina on Saturday where they skated to a 6-6 tie with the Canucks.

The Estevan peewee female Bulldogs were in Minot, N.D. this past weekend for the Minot Invitational Girls 12U "Ice Breaker" tournament. The Bulldogs played very well, coming up just short of winning the tournament.

Ryan Ostertag recorded a hat trick and the Eagle Drilling Estevan Bruins held a 5-2 lead with just over eight minutes to play in the third period, but neither were enough to lift the Bruins over the Yorkton Terriers on Tuesday night.

The Estevan Comprehensive School boys' curling team boys were in Arcola last Monday and Tuesday at the District Championships. The ECS boys played seven games over the two-day bonspiel and came out victorious in six of them.

The Red Wings held on to their one-point lead over Estevan, after splitting home-and-home action against the Bruins on the weekend.

"Rider pride" and "Rider passion" were both on display on Sunday in Weyburn, as 10 members of the Saskatchewan Roughriders visited the city for the day as a reward for 小蓝视频 one of the five provincial finalists in the "Where is Riderville?" contest,

The Estevan Elecs senior boys' and girls' basketball teams are off to a good start in the 76th McLeod Series. With Weyburn winning the series each of the past 26 years, Estevan is hoping this is the year they put an end to that streak.

The Bantam Cougars began their series of provincial playoffs against the Balgonie Prairie Storm. The team traveled to Balgonie for Game #1 on January.30th. The Cougars have joined up with five players from Carnduff for our provincial team.

The Weyburn Rider Nation Touchdown Luncheon and the Rider Pride Hockey Challenge is happening on Sunday, February 13. This event is 小蓝视频 hosted by Weyburn Rider Nation in support of Weyburn Minor Football.

On February 5th, a few girls from the Carlyle Figure Skating attended the Weyburn Competition. There were over 250 skaters in this competition coming from all over Saskatchewan.
