Schools in Assiniboia enthusiastically took part in National Family Literacy Day on January 27. The Assiniboia Elementary School began their day with a 鈥淩eading for Bikes鈥� activity with the 7th Avenue School students gathering a short while later.

The Town of Rockglen has announced its initial plans for the Canada 150 celebrations this year. Canada is marking 150 years of confederation this year.
