It is probably safe to assume most of us do not generally employanalogies referring to military campaigns when discussing local urban development policy.

Too often people get excited about a brand new start. They're going to lose 30 pounds by eating right and following a new exercise regimen. I know this because they have it all documented in a binder with color-coded tabs. They are organized.

Dear Editor, Good morning, North Battleford: At this time of year, we have our children returning to school. We also have drivers who are oblivious to this.

Ed, my neighbour next door, is feeling frustrated. He cannot control the weather and must wait to get going again at his harvest after recent rains. Ed is sure that once you are retired like me, life is frustration free.

Finding out that your child has a severe peanut allergy can be a very stressful concern.

If nothing else, this has been an earth-shaking week! First we'd been reminded from every possible media outlet that today (at least it's today as I write) is the 10-year anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the United States.
