It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. The seniors had a potluck and jam session and, thanks to Judy Gallie, the seniors' center was decorated beautifully. Thanks to everyone who attended.

Borden Lions held their annual Festival of Music in the Borden Community Centre Dec. 4 with emcee John Buswell announcing the items on the program.

This has been a busy year for Barry and Elaine Ducherer of River Hill Farm, near Neilburg, as they have been showing their Speckle Park cattle. They travelled to the Lloydminster Stockade Roundup and also to Farmfair in Edmonton. Then, Nov.

The fun, festive season has begun. Residential light displays are becoming a beautiful addition to the night sky. Carols are ringing out from our radios and store speakers. Christmas events are taking place all over town.

The deadline for applications for the Saskatchewan Agriculture Student Scholarship is Feb. 15, 2012.

Gallery members have created works for two exhibitions currently showing in the Window Salon of the Chapel Gallery. "Carefree Sounds of Winter" features pieces created using a variety of media to give viewers a sense of celebration for the season.

Congratulations to Milt McMillan who celebrated his 97th birthday Monday, Thursday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday the grandchildren and great-grandchildren visited. Monday the immediate family enjoyed Chinese food and cards.

Christmas parties and programs are underway keeping everyone busy. Doug McLaine attended a Christmas party in Neilburg on Friday evening, Dec. 2. It was sponsored by his employers, the Urlachers.

The past week's weather featured a very high wind, not much snow and cloudy skies. Temperatures have been below zero for the most part.

Hi there! It's hard to believe that it's December now and nearly Christmas time again. We can certainly tell that in our lounge as we see a beautifully decorated tree in the corner and the rest of the room with other lovely Christmas decorations.
