The Sturgis Kinsmen and Kinettes are preparing their 37 th annual Mini-Miracle and organizers have said they have a full stage of talent lined up.

Members of the Preeceville CWL have joined their national organization in objecting to a television series dealing with assisted suicide.

The Sturgis Curling Club hosted two separate fun bonspiels, a mixed and a kids鈥� bonspiel from February 13 to 17. There were 10 rinks entered in the mixed event and 11 rinks entered in the kids鈥� competition.

Two Preeceville Harvard Air Cadets did well at the provincial biathlon competition held at Camp SaskCadet at Round Lake on January 20. Janhia Irelandez and Lezlie Morales each skied to a silver medal in the junior female category.

The Preeceville School has created a lot of excitement within the school and community with the hatching perch eggs and hand raising perch.

Eric Harper took to the stage for the final concert for the Whitehawk Arts Council Stars for Saskatchewan series. Harper performed in Preeceville on February 13.

The Endeavour Open Bonspiel, held February 9 to 12, attracted nine teams. "Curlers enjoyed the challenge of curling on real ice," said Scott Giddings.

Amy McDade will be performing at the Sturgis Mini-Miracle on March 2. 鈥淢cDade is a GX94 Radio Star Search champion,鈥� said Kayla Jelinski, the radio station鈥檚 promotions director.

Preeceville present and past residents are 小蓝视频 encouraged to reconnect with their roots during the Canada 150 anniversary.

James Betts will be performing at the Sturgis Mini-Miracle 37 scheduled to be hosted by the Sturgis Kinsmen and Kinettes on March 2.
