The provincial government鈥檚 decision to consolidate the 12 existing regional health authorities into one single entity was discussed by Don Rae, chair of the Sunrise Health Region board at its meeting on January 25.

Preeceville School students in grades 4 to 8 rose to the challenge of public speaking in front of a panel of judges, teachers, peers and parents in an oratory competition on February 3.

The Kelvington Trailblazers hosted its 31st annual snowmobile rally on February 4 when 234 riders attended.

The 18 th annual Preeceville and District Mushers鈥� Rendezvous was said to have been another success and proceeds are to go towards the Preeceville, Sturgis and Endeavour hall complexes.

The Rural Municipality of Hazel Dell made its committee and board appointments for 2017 at the January 18 meeting of council.
