Third annual GSSD track meet continues today

Three days this week, the Gallagher Centre is the host of the Standards Track Meet, put on by the Good Spirit School Division. Students compete against themselves from 9:30-2 p.m., each day of the meet, said GSSD employee Jason Trost.

The 2011 Regionals of Saskatchewan High Schools Athletics Association basketball got off to a good start for the Yorkton Regional Raiders senior boys team last weekend. They beat Prince Albert Carlton in their opening game, 48-47.

The Yorkton Terriers are coming off a split in LaRonge over the weekend where they lost one and won one to tie up the Credit Union Cup finals at 1-1. The teams were scheduled to get together to play Games 3-4 this week at the Farrell Agencies Arena.
