YRHS falls to Marauders at Mosaic

For the third time this season, the YRHS senior football team scored at least 20 points in a football game. For the first time this season it did not end up 小蓝视频 enough to win the game.

The Sacred Heart senior football team was not in the win column on Oct. 13 in Foam Lake, closing out the regular season, but they got themselves back into it over the weekend thanks to a 23-12 win to start the real season.

Perry Enns' team has been on the road a lot lately and this past weekend was their first time playing in familiar territory. The Sacred Heart senior girls' volleyball team hosted an eight-team tournament, including Melville and the YRHS.

Harvest run into a hot Blazer goalie

If the Yorkton Harvest can take any consolation from back-to-back losses they endured over the weekend, it's that they won't have to worry about facing a super-hot goalie again this season, unless it happens to be in a playoff game.

Bantams win, 4-1

The Bantam UCT Terriers hosted the Regina Oilers at the Kinsmen Arena Saturday. Tanner Mak scored twice in a 4-1 win and had an assist too. He set up Chance Patterson for his team's first goal. Brandon Pelechaty also had an assist on that goal.

Terriers and Mills tied in third

The Yorkton Terriers split a pair of Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League games on the week, leaving the team with a 7-9 record for 14 points, tied for third in the Sherwood Conference with Melville.
