The club is now in its fifth season of fostering the development of archery skills for its members.

A Christmas Trade Show is planned for Nov. 5 at the Kamsack Seniors’ Centre. Proceeds realized will be donated to the Kamsack Seniors’ Centre.

The money is СÀ¶ÊÓƵ used for the Library’s Youth Resources Project. It will purchase a children’s table and chairs, a bulletin board, a puzzle floor mat, floor cushions and a folding table.

Residents of Eaglestone Lodge held a combined Halloween and birthday party that featured a karaoke-style sing-song.

The event was held on the last day of Fire Prevention Week and served as a thank you to the community while focusing on the need for residents to be aware of fire prevention.

The plan is for all the perimeter sidewalks to be replaced, with some connecting sidewalks to be added in the courtyard to allow for increased safety and accessibility for the Eaglestone community

Melissa Johnson of Norquay received the award during a reception at the Legislative Building in Regina on Oct. 14.

The Friends of Madge Lake did some work to the pickleball courts this year, and is planning work on the basketball court, planting trees and enhancing the trail infrastructure.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority said it is planning to open four Alternate Level of Care (ALC) and one palliative care beds in the next month, contingent upon staffing levels.

Police said they received a report of a firearms discharge at a residence on The Key First Nation. Officers immediately responded and located an injured man. He was pronounced deceased by EMS at the scene.
