The first hockey game for the Canora Novice Black team may have resulted in a loss, but players and coaches still left with high hopes for the remainder of the season.

Canora Composite School’s senior boys volleyball team finished the first year as a new team with a home conference to further hone its skills.

The first round of Duck Mountain Super League (DMSL) men’s curling was played in Kamsack November 15 when all seven teams based in Canora, Benito, Arran, Norquay and Kamsack that had competed in 2015 were back to play again this year.
