WEYBURN – The City of Weyburn has lifted its restrictions on water usage issued earlier in the day on May 13.
The restriction was a precaution to allow the sewer system enough capacity to handle the excessive storm water.
A low pressure system moving northwards out of North Dakota is spreading rain across southeastern Saskatchewan and western Manitoba. Widespread amounts of 30 to 60 mm are forecast.
The heaviest will begin tapering off from south to north later on Friday, but showery weather will last into Saturday morning in the Weyburn region.
