Greg Nikkel

Greg Nikkel, editor of the Weyburn Review, has been a journalist since 1988, first working for two newspapers in the Edmonton area before moving to Weyburn in 1995 to take over as news editor.
He has won numerous awards over the years, including for news and feature writing, editorial writing, and for photography. He was named Photographer of the Year for the Saskatchewan Weekly Newspapers Association for 2019.
He is married to Tracy, and they have four adult children, three daughters who live in Regina and a son who lives in Weyburn.
He volunteers as a member of the Rotary Club of Weyburn and with his church.
