The Carlyle RCMP detachment handled 57 calls from Oct. 24 to 31. Oct. 24 There was a complaint of a possible impaired driver in Arcola. Members made patrolled the area but were unable to find the truck.

A new fundraising initiative at Carlyle Elementary School proved to be a roaring success, thanks to its captive audience. The Jail n' Bail fundraiser, put on by CES' School Community Council took place throughout the day on Friday, Oct. 29.

November is here and so is the first Report Card Day. Report cards will go home on Nov. 18th. Parent Teacher Interviews are scheduled for Nov. 24th and 25th from 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm. All parents are encouraged to attend.
