Wawota set for second annual Winter Fest

With the snows of winter upon us, the community of Wawota is warming up the season with their second annual Wawota Winter Festival. The one day event was first introduced last year with rave reviews.

Pee Wee Cougars take 3rd in Brandon tournament

The Pee Wee Cougars travelled to Brandon last weekend to play in a 12 team tournament. The Cougars dominated their pool defeating the Brandon Bruins 13 to 2, and the Kenora Red Lions, in their yellow jerseys, 10 to 2.

Bantam Cougars eager to get season underway

We had a friend call us the other day. She's coming to town with her kids and she wants to know if they can stay at our place for a couple of days. We put her into a stall pattern. We don't quite know how to deal with this. See, it's not our friend.
