Carlyle Bantam Cougars advance to finals

The Carlyle Bantam Cougars entered into the semi-final round of play offs against Lampman, with Game #1 on home ice Mar.8th. The Cougars seemed unable to get into this game, allowing Lampman a 3-0 lead after the first period.

Report cards went out on Wednesday, March 23. It was great to see so many parents out for Parent/Teacher interviews on Wednesday and Thursday.

Starting this coming week, March 28th the classrooms at CES are celebrating healthy eating with a school wide competition to see which classroom packs the healthiest lunches. A healthy lunch contains one serving from each of the four food groups.

The weekly RCMP report is prepared with the assistance of the Carlyle RCMP. Issues involving the Mental Health Act, among others, are not reported. The report this week covers the period of March 11 - March 18. The detachment assisted with 60 calls.
