Aboriginal day is celebrated throughout Canada on June 21. The day, first celebrated in 1996, recognizes and celebrates the culture of the First Nations, Inuit and M茅tis peoples of Canada.

Alameda Fish Derby saw almost 290 participants register for their 15th annual event held on June 25 at Moose Creek Regional Park.

July 9-10 is Saskatchewan's family fishing weekend, which means people can go out all over the province and fish without a licence. The Moose Mountain Wildlife Federation is going to help people get out to fish on July 10. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
