In March 2019, the Saskatchewan RCMP Federal Serious and Organized Crime Unit (FSOC) launched an interprovincial investigation into a group based in Saskatchewan that were involved in the distribution of illicit cannabis and tobacco products.

Stolen vehicle in Assiniboia reported

The Assiniboia RCMP requested the public's assistance in locating the person(s) responsible for the theft of a vehicle in Assiniboia at the 300 block of 2nd Avenue West sometime between the hours of 6:00 p.m. September 2 and 8:30 a.m. on September 3.
