Traditionally, the season of Lent has been a time of self examination. Through a period of looking inward the intention is to identify one鈥檚 sins and go through a process of repentance and renewal.

During this time of alarming updates and depressing news, I think it鈥檚 more important than ever to take a moment to relax and breathe. I write this tale in hopes of bringing you that moment.

Ed, my old neighbour in Saskatchewan, could always be counted on to do me a favour when we lived next door to each other. It easy to like a neighbour or friend who will always help you if possible.

On our recent vacation we attended a church where Pastor Tim Rice from Lakeland, Florida told this story about a day he went to help a friend in the mining industry who he wanted to share the love of God with.
