A topsy-turvy season for the Battlefords AAA Stars finally ended last Wednesday in Prince Albert as the Mintos downed the Stars 5-1. The game was played at the Art Hauser Centre Arena and brought an end to the regular season for the Stars.

The Battlefords Kinsmen Orcas swim team capped off a successful meet at A provincials in Prince Albert Feb. 4 to 6 by winning the small team title with a point total of 185.

Denholm curling rocks

Denholm Curling Club held a cash bonspiel Jan.29 and 30 with eight teams entered. According to those in attendance, the bonspiel was a success and everyone in attendance had fun. Spectators were treated to some fabulous shots and exciting games.

All four series in the North Saskatchewan River Hockey League are on the verge of 小蓝视频 three-game sweeps. The first place Maidstone Jets beat Paradise Hill 5-1 and 5-4.

Local men's rinks fail to advance to senior provincials

The northern and southern senior playdowns were held Feb. 10 to 13 and although their were two local teams at northerns, they will not be competing at provincials in Regina.
