The Battlefords are buzzing this coming week. Not only has spring tentatively arrived, there are events for art and music lovers, and a day to say "no" to bullying. For art lovers, there is a new exhibit at the Chapel Gallery in North Battleford.

From jumping off a stack of 25 chairs when she was a small child to crashing through a movie set's window as an adult, Humboldt native Heidi Ford is making her mark as a stunt double in the film industry.

The Battlefords Art Club met on a bright sunny Tuesday this week. Members worked on a variety of pieces in watercolour, acrylic and fabric. We invite you to be at the Don Ross Centre on a Tuesday morning or from 7 to 9 p.m. in the evening.

Dear Editor As the Dekker Centre enters it's seventh month of operation, I find myself utterly dissapointed at the extemely short list of events that have taken place at the Dekker Centre.

They sang sweetly, softly, loudly, professionally. Then they were joined by 67 local singers to blow the audience's hair back with their power.
