Theatre Saskatchewan has announced the adjudicator for TheatreFest 2017 СÀ¶ÊÓƵ held in North Battleford and hosted by Battlefords Community Players. Will Brooks, artistic producer of Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan will be judging the performances.

A fundraiser for the Battlefords Canadian Mental Health Association will be held at The Gog Saturday, April 8 featuring local band Backroads.

The Fortunate Ones are on their way back to Saskatchewan. The Newfoundland team of Catherine Allan and Andrew James O’Brien enjoyed nine shows during the first leg of their Organization of Saskatchewan Art Councils tour.

Fittingly, for the month with St. Patrick's Day, The Fitzgerald Family Band – parents Pam and Paddy, kids Tom, Kerry and Julie, and lead vocalist Nate Douglas – make their return to the Dekker Centre March 24.

Back Porch Swing, a musical duo made up of Jim and Penny Malmberg, will be playing at the Gog March 26.

Calling an event the "The Best St. Paddy's Day Party" is a lot to live up to, but Jim Walls, Dekker Centre board member, says it will deliver because they've "put the emphasis on fun." The event begins at 7 p.m.

It was a hard choice for professors Grant McConnell and Clint Hunker to chose pieces for the St. Peter’s College Student Exhibit.

This year marks Theatre Saskatchewan's 85th year contributing to the growth and development of community theatre. This April, Theatre Saskatchewan will bring TheatreFest to the Dekker Centre of the Performing Arts.

There are some changes coming to the 28th annual North Battleford Art Auction and Dinner on March 10. One is that the annual art auction, hosted at the Chapel Gallery, is no longer СÀ¶ÊÓƵ organized by the Bonaventure Lions Club.

Saskatoon-based illusionist Jason Morgan is inviting folks of all ages to see him perform captivating magic Feb. 26 at the North Battleford Library. Morgan has performed in the Battlefords multiple time and says he's excited to return for the 3 p.m.
