Auxiliary plans birthday bash

The Legion Ladies' Auxiliary No. 142 held their monthly meeting at the Legion Hall Tuesday evening. Plans were finalized for Jack Bullock's 100th birthday celebration Feb. 9 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Hallways undergo a makeover

Happy New Year to all readers. With the new year comes a new look that is admired and appreciated. North Battleford Housing Authority has contracted with G.B. Enterprises to remove the aging wallpaper from the hallways.

Potluck supports women's shelter

Manitou Evangelical Free Church held a potluck luncheon Jan.23. This was a fundraiser for a the EFC Canada Women's National Project - La Casa Mariposa. This is a safe shelter for little girls and young women in Bolivia.
