The City of Yorkton is changing its insurance broker after a decision by Yorkton Council at its regular meeting Monday. The City had been using Independent Agencies since July 2003, when it was transferred to Farrell Agencies Ltd.

There was a city traffic blitz conducted by RCMP last week. Depending on who you talk to there were between four and ten police cars stopping traffic on Broadway Street, near the Parker Quine building.

Kids of Steel duathlon set for Saturday at the Gallagher Centre

The 2nd Annual LDM Foods Kids of Steel triathlon is coming to Yorkton on May 16. The event will combine swimming and running portions and participants have been training for it on Saturday mornings leading up to it.
