YORKTON -  The offence never got rolling for the Yorkton Terriers Wednesday.

The Terriers were in Melfort for Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League action and actually started well against the host Mustangs scoring the only goal of the first period. The goal was by David Coyle.

But that was it offensively for the visitors.

In the second period a powerplay effort by Reilley Kotai was the only goal, but it tied the contest 1-1.

It was 1:18 into the third period Kotai was back to score what would prove the game-winner.

Ty Thorton on the powerplay and Ashston Paul added insurance markers for the Mustangs in a 4-1 win.

Callum Creig faced 34-shots in the loss for Yorkton, while winning netminder Kristian Coombs faced 21-shots in the Melfort goal.
