Sturgis junior girls bring home first tournament win

The SCHS junior girls basketball team brought home their first tournament win by defeating the Hudson Bay home team on January 8-9. The two-day tournament hosted by Hudson Bay featured five teams plus the host team.

Hockey teams see action in the new year

The Preeceville hockey teams in the Major Hockey League have already seen action in the new year. In the atom division, the first game had the Pats travelling to Yorkton on January 3.

Two teams saw hockey action recently in Preeceville

The Preeceville Atom Pats saw home-game action on December 19, when the Cote Chiefs were in town. The Pats controlled the game from the beginning, culminating in a 26-0 shutout.
