The Preeceville Pats bantam hockey team brought home the A banner when they defeated Moosomin on March 25. The first game of the final series was held in Preeceville on March 18. The Preeceville team defeated Moosomin with a final score of 4-2.

Shane Nelson of Preeceville won the award for the biggest fish caught at the Nelson Lake ice fishing derby on March 24. The Endeavour Eagles club sponsored the second-time derby.

Endeavour supports daffodil month

The month of April was declared daffodil month by the Canadian Cancer Society. Volunteers will be busy delivering and selling bright, yellow daffodils to help raise money to support the fight against cancer, according to the cancer web site.

The Preeceville Pats Atoms hockey team won the Major Hockey League A banner in front a home crowd in Preeceville on March 22. The first game in the finals for the A banner was held in Esterhazy on March 14. The final score was 6-5 for Esterhazy.
