Haunted House plan needs community help

Halloween is only weeks away, and Blake DeJong is hoping that in that time a haunted house can be developed in the city to create a few scares and screams for people, and to raise funds for a good cause.

City wants strat plan

Yorkton Council has embarked upon a process to develop a Strategic Plan for the city. As part of that process Mayor James Wilson announced a Community Strategic Plan Conference to be held Oct. 28 - 30 at the Gallagher Centre.

Coffee day planned

The regular monthly Non Pot Luck Luncheon is Monday, September 20 in the Stirling Room. A note for future reference: Laketown Leaders will have community coffee on Monday and Tuesday, September 27 & 28 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
