Student representatives from across Parkland College met May 31 in Kamsack for the College鈥檚 first ever Student Advisory Leadership Conference (SALC).

Last week Kamsack Mayor Rod Gardner, his wife Vi and Councillor Joe Kozakewich and his wife Debbie spent time in the Gardners鈥� garage assembling 18 new chairs that have been purchased for the Assiniboine Valley Medical Centre.

A reception was held Friday in honour of 30 Sunrise Health Region employees, some of whom have retired, and the rest have reached milestones in their lengths of employment.
