Preparations for the annual SUMA convention and appointments of professionals for 2018 were among the items to concern town council at its regular meeting of January 8.

Rick Kinaschuk and his teammates, sponsored by W.F. Schneider and Son of Benito, were unbeatable in Kamsack January 5, easily winning the Duck Mountain Super League trophy and top prize money of $350.
