A special pilgrimage trip was made on Aug. 21 to the Khabailo (Chabailo) pioneer cemetery, a long-forgotten and abandoned cemetery, located on the NW1/4 of S32-T29-R7-W2ndM, the homestead land of pioneer Stefan Chabailo, who settled on this land in 1898.

In addition to the chuckwagon and chariot races and the gymkhana, other Ag Days events included: a petting zoo, pet show, old-fashioned kids games, and a four-team slo-pitch softball tournament.

This event took on a great deal of added significance for many following the Russian invasion of Ukraine six months ago.
