Assiniboia's Kyle Giraudier returns home from Canada Winter Games with a bronze medal, for his efforts with Team Saskatchewan floor hockey.

The Weyburn Wrestling Club had four wrestlers go to Saskatoon on March 10 for the SAWA provincials for Bantam, Cadet, and Juvenile, and all of them won medals.

The team came home from the competition with Provincial Bronze after defeating Saskatoon Bethlehem.

A Weyburn junior curler, Nathan Cornish, had a personal victory at the Brier, as he took part in the provincial finals for the Hit-Draw-Tap competition.

Team pursuit and sprint success earn honour.

Team Saskatchewan consisted of skip Daniel Fiedelleck, third Scot Earl, second Mitchell Moore and lead Ysabelle Senecal. Rodney Mitchell was an alternate.

Murray GM defeated Gilliss Casing in the final.

Social development of the youths was focus of event.

$7,000 donated to two organizations.

Decision comes after an extensive search conducted by a 6-panel hiring committee.
