The Weyburn Curling Rink held their first-ever Turner Cup competition, pitting the over-50 team against the under-50 team, and the over-50 curlers emerged as the winners on Saturday. The team was captained by Bruce Miller, while the under-50 team was captained by Ryan Skjerdal.

A list of 73 properties with unpaid city taxes for 2023 came up at Weyburn city council, worth almost a quarter-million dollars, as the city begins tax enforcement.

Weyburn police responded to a train versus vehicle collision on Queen Street near Highway 39 shortly before 10 p.m. on Thursday.

A total of 19 wrestlers travelled to Moose Jaw over the weekend, and brought back a total of 15 medals.

All job actions by the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation have been suspended, with a return to the bargaining table on Monday, Feb. 12 in Saskatoon.

Cabinet ministers Donna Harpauer, Gord Wyant, Don McMorris and Dustin Duncan all say it’s the right time to leave the Legislature.
