The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual Parade of Lights through downtown Weyburn on Thursday evening, with a light snowfall coming down. There were many floats from businesses, community organizations, sports teams and groups, plus a number of hot chocolate stations were to be found around the downtown area to help keep the spectators warm.

The Transportation Safety Board has investigators at the scene to determine the cause of the derailment.

The Duplicate Bridge Club will hold their Christmas supper, featuring turkey and all the trimmings, on Monday, Dec. 12 at 5:30 p.m.
