Smile Cookies to benefit Weyburn and District Hospital Foundation

A group of Sask. Health Authority employees took part in a cookie decorating contest for this year's Smile Cookies campaign at the Weyburn Tim Horton's.

WEYBURN – A group of Sask. Health Authority employees, board members for the Weyburn and District Hospital Foundation, and Mayor Marcel Roy and his wife Osaro, took part in a cookie decorating contest to kick off this year's Smile Cookies campaign at the Weyburn Tim Horton's restaurant.

The Weyburn hospital foundation will be the recipient of the funds raised by the sale of the Smile Cookies.

There were three rounds of cookie decorating, and in the finals, Amy Daniel ended up with the winning cookie design.

Throughout the week, there are volunteers from SHA and from the hospital foundation who will come in to help decorate cookies for the sale.

The cookies are on sale from now until Sunday, May 5. The cookies are $1.50 each or $18 for a box of a dozen cookies.
