An old-fashioned threshing bee was held at the Glen and Suzanne Stomp farm at Griffin on Sunday afternoon, including stooks of spring wheat gathered on hay racks, and then put through an antique McCormick threshing machine. This was all to demonstrate how harvesting used to be done on the prairies many years ago.
