Let's get silly again this week, dear diary. What the heck, it's summer. Nobody wants to engage in serious stuff, we want puff and fluff, don't we? Well, for starters, at least one pretty important subject to touch on.

The Editor,Good Samaritans are alive and active in Estevan. Our July 1 hero is Adam Jocelyn. After several vehicles drove by while we were in distress, Adam stopped and helped us change our flat tire, which we were unable to do ourselves.

This fall might be a good time for the provincial government to introduce legislation to eliminate Saskatchewan's health regions in the name of efficiencies and in an attempt to depoliticize the process of governance.

The Editor, I would like to correct the letter to the editor on June 30, 2010 that stated СÀ¶ÊÓƵ Doreen Eagles sits at the cabinet table. This is not true. Doreen Eagles may chair the caucus meetings, but she has not been and is not a cabinet minister.
