A friend and I went to a concert last week and ran smack dab into a conundrum. It wasn't our fault. It was wrapped in a judgement call and cloaked in a moral dilemma. So it was pretty close to invisible.

People often ask me what it takes to keep a rural community alive. My work in rural development has always lent itself to these types of questions.

The weather appears to have turned for the long term. I hope nobody claims I have jinxed or cursed or doomed the city of Estevan to six more weeks of winter by saying that. I think the above freezing temperatures are here to stay.
