In 13 appearances, Canada has captured five gold medals at the World Para Hockey Championship.

The Estevan Comprehensive School sent many athletes to compete at provincials.

Meanwhile, U15 AA Brewers Quintin Sliva tossed five no-hit innings versus Swift Current.

This course was established in the 1960s and is located on the north side of Highway 13 at the east entrance of the town.

Estevan was stop No. 4 in a six-city tour.

In addition to showcasing elite-level competition, each event will also offer amateur competitions and a series of social events and clinics.

The Estevan Curling Club has formed a dedicated committee of about 10 members to lead the effort of bringing the Scotties 2026 to the city. Four members partook in the chamber's latest Coffee Talk on June 5 to share how the event would benefit the community and how the community can support their bid.

Awards were handed out for numerous sports during the evening.

For now though L’Heureux is focused on the nine-race CPCA season – the first race is set for Poundmaker, Sask. June 6-9. (Locally they run in Kelvington Aug. 2-4.)
