Three Weyburn teams play at Legasse tourney, Oilers secure title

Three minor baseball teams from Weyburn were at the Legasse Tournament in Regina during the May long weekend. The Weyburn Oilers secured the Legasse title in the mosquito division, a title that they had not won since 2004.

SGA bursary awarded to local golfer

Weyburn golfer Elanne Krainyk was awarded the Richard Collacott High School Bursary ($250) and $450 from the Athlete Assistance from the scholarship program of the Saskatchewan Golf Association (SGA).
