WEYBURN – The U14 Weyburn Falcons defeated the Swift Current Steelers on Saturday 15-1.
The Falcons defence held the team in the game.
The only point scored by the Steelers came in the first half when a kick went through Weyburn’s endzone.
The offence kicked it into gear in the fourth quarter resulting in the win, with quarterback Hudson Maloney scoring both touchdowns.
The defensive game ball went to Malley Sterling and the offensive game ball went to the whole defence.
Lastly, the Falcons team showed their support of Breast Cancer Awareness for the month of October especially in their last home game of the season.
The Falcons will next play on Friday, Oct. 13, in Estevan.
