A horse and carriage driven by Falon Brydon made its way around the River Park Sparkle Tour, and is part of the package up for auction by Weyburn Tourism.

WEYBURN – Weyburn Tourism has had an overwhelming response to the horse and carriage rides through River Park Sparkles. They have one opening time slot and as it’s a time for giving, they decided have an auction to benefit the Salvation Army.

Here is how it works: Like the Weyburn Tourism Facebook Page to get involved in the bidding. The bidding will go live on Wednesday, Dec. 15, and the last bid wins on Dec. 16th at 3 p.m. local time. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Salvation Army.

What does the highest bidder win?

• A horse and carriage ride through River Park Sparkles (must be on Dec. 19th);

• One night stay in jacuzzi suite at the Canalta Weyburn
hotel;

• a $50 gift card from Boston Pizza, providing the perfect evening out in Weyburn.

“We are thrilled to see the community so engaged in the new addition to River Park Sparkles,” said Larry Heggs, executive director of Weyburn Tourism.
